Paige Dress PDF Sewing Pattern

The Paige Dress is where soft femininity meets modern statement dressing. Designed with a beautifully shaped bodice, strategic waist cutouts, and a midi-length skirt, Paige delivers the kind of head-turning silhouette that looks straight from a luxury boutique—but this one is made by you.

The fitted, bra-inspired bodice features a softly gathered bust and a deep curved neckline that creates shape without feeling overly structured. Slim adjustable shoulder straps allow you to customize the fit, while the open back and waist cutouts add just the right amount of skin.

One of Paige’s most distinctive features is the adjustable center-front detail. During construction, you decide how much of the waist you would like to reveal. Pull the center-front peak farther into the bodice for more coverage or leave it lower for a more dramatic cutout. The result is a dress that can be personalized to your comfort level and style.

The bodice flows into a high-waisted, gently A-line midi skirt for a clean, elongated silhouette. A center-back zipper provides a secure fit and a polished finish.

Whether you make Paige in a crisp cotton, an elevated linen blend, or a fabric with soft movement, this is the dress you will reach for when the occasion calls for something special.

Skill Level

Confident Beginner to Intermediate

The Paige Dress is ideal for sewists who are comfortable using a sewing machine and ready to build their garment-making skills. The pattern includes creating adjustable straps, attaching hardware, working with a lining, understitching, and finishing a hem.

Take your time, press carefully throughout construction, and let each step bring the dress together.

Recommended Fabrics

Choose a light- to medium-weight woven fabric with enough stability to support the fitted bodice while still allowing the skirt to move beautifully.

Suggested fabrics include:

  • Linen and linen blends

  • Cotton sateen

  • Cotton poplin

  • Lightweight twill

  • Chambray

  • Lightweight denim

  • Crepe

  • Stable rayon or viscose blends

  • Lightweight suiting

If this is your first time sewing a fitted, lined dress, select a stable fabric that presses well and is not overly slippery.

Notions

In addition to your fabric and lining, you will need:

  • Coordinating all-purpose thread

  • Center-back zipper

  • Strap sliders

  • Strap rings

  • Optional blind-hem foot

Refer to the pattern’s fabric and supply chart for the required zipper length, hardware size, fabric yardage, and lining yardage.

Before Cutting Your Fabric

Use the body-measurement chart to select your starting size. If your measurements fall between sizes, size up.

We strongly recommend making a test bodice before cutting into your final fabric. The Paige Dress has a fitted bodice, and a test version will allow you to check the bust, underbust, strap length, waist placement, and preferred amount of cutout coverage.

Why You’ll Love Paige

Paige is bold without being complicated, feminine without feeling predictable, and completely customizable to the person wearing it. Dress it up with heels and statement jewelry, keep it effortless with flat sandals, or layer it with a cropped jacket when the temperature drops.
