DIY Lantern Sleeve Dress

When I initially spotted this gorgeous wool fabric, it reminded me of Vivienne Westwood and her beautiful tartan dresses and tops. Uncertain what I wanted to do with it, I thought back to the beautiful Roksanda Ilincic lantern sleeve dress and decided to make my winter interpretation using McCalls pattern M5927 with several alterations.

Dress: DIY
Earrings: AV Max
Bracelet: YSL
Booties: Gianvito Rossi

    1. Thank you! I think going with a classic pair of heels would make it way too ordinary, I chose the boots to give it personality.

  4. Great dress, I love it. I also agree the boots made it hot. Heels would have made it pretty, so it just depends on the mood just saying lol

  5. I love the dress but not a fan of the sleeves - imo they are to big and distract me from the beauty of the dress
