Growing up I recall having a velvet sofa and jacquard curtains that I absolutely hated. I was way to young to be able to appreciate such an intricate fabric. Fast forward many years and the new explosion of brocade, jacquard and baroque, I have learned to appreciate and have fallen in love with this beautiful and elegant textile that brings back so many memories.
