I was so inspired by this awesome Giambattista Valli skirt I had to try a DIY version with this beautiful pink jacquard fabric and Newlook pattern 6003. I didn't deviate much from the pattern with the exception of length and wasn't completely thrilled with the peplum but I figured it's completed, I love the color and material and not much I can do now. I plan to re-create this skirt with a more exaggerated peplum for fall.
